I saw this photograph on Deviant Art a while ago, and saved it as "old lady", so, I don't know who it's by

ANYWAY! Sooo, yeah, this photographis amazing, and I wish I knew who it as by. But this week's art homework was to draw the face of an older person, and that picture immediatly came to mind. Sooo -- since our next big project is with like... chalk pastels, I decided to break out the closest thing I had to them to prove to myself that I wasn't going to suck majorly at this project. Sooooo, I took out the colored charcoals that I'd never ever ever used before, but bought a long time ago because I'm stupid and buy stuff i don't use, and started attacking the paper.

Yeah... I'm pretty happy with it.
